STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS (SONA) 2012

PNoy will air his 3rd State Of the Nation Address (SONA) at exactly 2pm today, Monday, July 23 at the House of Representatives, Quezon City

Of course, the President is expected to enumerate all the programs he had established from the time he was elected and all his plans in his remaining years as President.

Personally, I am expecting that he will highlights all his achievements. This should include his feats to end corruption and poverty in our country. I am also expecting an update about our country's dispute against China.

Expected also is the mass protests to be staged of the militant groups during the SONA 2012.

CEBU TAOIST TEMPLE

Elevated around 300 meters above sea level is the towering open to public Taoist Temple. This temple is situated at the suburb area of Beverly Hills around 8 kilometers north from downtown Cebu.

Striking a pose, right behind me is the Temple itself.

Did you see that? Huge and clear..

This temple, built by Chinese Community, is the center of worship for Taoism. Devotees are commonly observe here during Wednesdays and Sundays as they practice the teachings of the ancient Philosopher Lao Tze. They also climb the 99 stairs going to the temple as part of their rituals. This temple is standing since 1972. This place offers not just a serene place but an aerial view of the Cebu City.

Though it's open to public, silence is strictly observe within the vicinity. If you're a commuter, I recommend you take a cab for your own convenience. It is hard to take a ride going back to the City. This will cost you around P300-P400.
