The Kinilaw Festival of Surigao City is a celebration displaying different styles in preparing a “Kinilaw”.
Kinilaw, an appetizer, is a local delicacy consisting of raw fish marinated in citrus, vinegar or coconut milk mixed with spices.
The festival is being celebrated every 2nd of October. This festival also features other sea foods and marine products found in the locality.
